Concrete Road and Street Maintenance [VIRTUAL]


Course Description:

This course presents the practices of designing, constructing, and rehabilitating concrete pavements and is designed for maintenance crews, foremen, and supervisors who have responsibility for providing maintenance on concrete pavements. This also includes county and city engineers, road supervisors, technicians, road and crew members, township trustees, and tribal officials.

Topics include: Fundamentals of Concrete, Component Materials of Concrete, Proportioning Concrete Basics and Pre-Placement Conferences, Batching, Mixing and Delivery, Handling, Placing, Finishing and Curing Concrete, Basic Concrete Troubleshooting, Repair Analysis: Making Long-Lasting Concrete for the Right Price

Two road and street maintenance classes are required for Roads Scholar Level I, this class satisfies one of the required courses.
